• A high spec, 80mm PC fan provides the air circulation. The fan is rated at 28CFM and runs at 2,200RPM. Good air circulation allows your plants to thrive and keeps stems strong and healthy
• The fan adds to the stealth properties of Grandma’s Secret Garden grow box. Operating at only 24DBA, the fan is quiet as a whisper
• Rapid air circulation and CFL lighting keeps temperatures down. In effect Grandma’s Secret Garden grow box is self cooled, eliminating the need for further temperature control measures

• Oxygen for the Deep Water Culture system is provided by a high performance Marina 75 air pump (or equivalent). This pump operates at 1,500cc per minute, providing 2.5psi of pressure. The other important feature of the DWC method is that it is real easy to use and understand. With DWC your plants’ nutrient needs are met by having their roots hanging in a highly oxygenated nutrient solution. If the water is sufficiently oxygenated the roots can stay submerged indefinitely, avoiding the need for the complicated timing schedules associated with other systems such as Ebb and Flow.
