Marijuana Growth

Marijuana Seedlings

Moisture and warmth from the soil will cause your seeds to awaken. Within a few days, if the soil is warm enough, the seed casing will crack open and a fragile root and stem will form. When the seedling emerges it is at its most vulnerable and your weed clearing and good soil preparation will have paid off.

Marijuana Vegetative Growth

Once established your seedlings will soon enter a vigorous vegetative growth stage. From such fragile beginnings plants quickly become full and robust. Unlike growing marijuana indoors you have no control over the duration of the vegetative growth stage and over the course of a summer plants can become huge. It is a good idea during this phase to feed your plants well with some quality, nitrogen rich, fertilizer.

you should set them on window seals for a few hours a day so they get used to natural light. then you can plant them outside but be sure to watch them for at least 3 weeks for any thing different

I recently planted some seeds in a pot not really thinking they would grow and they are sprouting like crazy…..but not thinking they would ALL sprout I put a lot of seeds and now they are growing all on top of each other. Should I try and move some to another pot or just let them grow???

Dilute urine 1:10 urine:water. Never urinate directly on ANY plant. You are adding a Nitrogen rich organic fertilizer that includes UREA. UREA is sold in garden stores, although a lot of people fail to realize that it is just urine. Urine, used directly, will kill your plants. If not immediately, the salt buildup will kill them eventually… Not to mention the amount of amount of Nitrogen that will burn your plants beyond repair.

I have a plant about two ft tall and I still don’t see buds will there be buds its late August also when do you harvest the plant

    • Thomas says:

You need to get a MMJ plant magnifier. There about 15.00 on Ebay. Look at your try chromes on your buds. You want some to still be clear, some to be milky and about 1 in 10 to be amber in color. You should already have buds in late August. If you do not, you probably have a male plant. To check this you look at the junction between the main stalk and a branch. A male will have two distinct balls on a short stalk. The female will have pods there also but they come to a point at the end with small white hairs protruding from there tips.

How long does it take to grow a plant?
Becuzz my plants a month old and its pretty bigg aha like 1ft…but how long untill the nuggs start to grow and when do i gotta take it out for curing? Can yu help me out with like the timeline of growing a plant?

    • Thomas says:

It all depends on the the light. If you are growing outdoors this will occur naturally from the shorter days as the seasons change. The shorter days of fall will trigger the flowering of your plant. (Budding) If you are growing indoors you have to do this manually by reducing the time you have your lights on.
